This is a complex aroma. The smell of caramelized grain from making dark stout. Sweet and caramelly, but with a cozy grain mash element.
Because we try to be as natural as possible, this soap is dark brown. Any scent with vanilla in it will naturally turn brown. Other soap makers use a chemical called titanium dioxide to whiten their soaps. For us, a brown soap is a good price to pay to lessen the chemical load exposed to our skin and bodies!
