Why OUR Goat Milk Soap?

Not all goat milk soap is created equally. Some companies only use tablespoon of powdered goat milk; others, especially larger soap companies, use 1/2 water and 1/2 goat milk. Our soap is made in small batches on our family farm and we use 100% fresh goat milk - no water! This is alot of work for us. We have to keep goats, milk goats, freeze their milk into ice cubes, pay to store those ice cubes in freezers, and then only make small batches of soap because we can't premake our lye ahead of time.

• PURE GOAT MILK SOAP

Why do we go to all that extra effort? Because goat milk is SO GOOD for your skin! Our soap has over 1 ounce of milk per bar! Making them fantastically and naturally moisturizing for your skin. Goat milk is loaded with fats, proteins and vitamins which help to keep your skin soft and supple and to maintain moisture levels. It is so wonderful for dry, sensitive skin.

 

• COLLIODAL OATMEAL

In addition to the milk, we also include colloidal oatmeal in every bar of soap. Our goal is to make the most moisturizing, nourishing soap you have ever used. The oatmeal helps to restore the skin barrier and reduces itching and inflammation.

• PALM FREE

This is an ingredient we DON'T use! Everyone uses Palm- why? Because it's inexpensive, it makes a hard bar of soap that lathers well. We don't care if it is sustainably sourced. If there is a demand for Palm, then more and more of the rainforest is going to be destroyed to grow it. That is just a fact. Our rainforest is so important to not only the worlds eco system, but to all of the endagered species that live there. So we will never use any product or by-product that comes from Palm!

• ALL NATURAL

Finally, our goal is to have soap that is beautiful, smells great AND is all natural. What we put on our skin is so important. Our skin is our largest organ and it absorbs everything we come in contact with. So, we only use herbs and clays to color our soaps. We don't use chemicals, micas, whiteners, sulfates for extra lather, or  ingredients you can't pronounce. In other words, if you can't grow it on top of the earth or mine it underneath it then we don't use it.

• FUN SCENTS

That being said, we do use a small amount of fragrance oil. This totally goes against everything we just stated, but life is just too short to not have a little fun. And you will never be able to enjoy scents like Lilac, Watermelon, or Bourbon when using only essential oils. So... we found fragrances that are Paraben, Phthalate and Formaldahyde Free. We have found that most people who are allergic to fragrances are not allergic to our soap because absolutely everything else is natural. We have so many customers that are excited to be able to use fun smelling products and not react to them!
